THINKING ABOUT ART: A THEMATIC GUIDE TO ART HISTORY
Thinking About Art is the first A level Art History textbook to be produced specifically for teachers and students, as well as a wider audience. It’s written by experienced teacher, Penny Huntsman.
Thinking About Art explores influential works of art and architecture through specific themes, rather than through chronology. The book is based on the current AQA A level syllabus, but is designed to appeal more broadly to those with a general interest in art, and those teaching or studying other A level subjects, such as Art, English or History, where aspects of art history are relevant. It provides a wealth of formal and contextual analysis, including suggested exercises and further reading.
Thinking About Art is published in partnership with Wiley.
